IEPL Dedicated Lines, Relay and Direct Routes
These three route types are not simply better or worse tiers. They use different access paths, resource models and cost structures, and each suits different network conditions. Understanding the differences before choosing is usually more effective than judging by region alone.

IEPL Dedicated Line
An IEPL dedicated line uses a relatively fixed cross-border path to connect local access with an exit in the target region. Its route planning is more defined and less exposed to random public-network changes, making it suitable for work that depends on a continuous connection.
For remote meetings, cloud development, continuous document sync, project uploads and extended AI tool sessions, interruptions often hurt productivity more than a single slow page load. Test an IEPL dedicated line first for these tasks.
Dedicated-line resources usually cost more to organize and maintain than standard paths. Choose them for the tasks that need them rather than using them for everything. If everyday light browsing is already stable on a relay route, frequent switching is unnecessary.

Relay Route
A relay route first connects to a selected access point, then sends traffic through a relay node to the target region. The extra routing layer can avoid some unsuitable public-network segments and makes it easier to configure different exits by region and purpose.
It offers a balanced combination of coverage, cost and connection performance, making it suitable for web browsing, video playback, research and general work. When the target service has no fixed regional requirement, start by testing a relay route in a nearby region.
Relay performance depends on the local carrier network and the current exit path. Routes in the same city can perform differently, so when loading stalls, first try another route type in the same region before moving to a more distant region.

Direct Route
A direct route connects to a server in the target region through the public network, with fewer routing layers and room to expand city coverage. It adds more regional exits and is useful for content and services with clear location requirements.
Direct routes depend more on the public links between the local network and the target region. Test direct access first for lightweight pages, regional checks or occasional use; if the connection fluctuates, switch to a relay in the same region or an IEPL dedicated line in a nearby region.
Direct routes are generally easier to control in terms of resource cost, but that does not mean they are faster for every use case. Distance, carrier networks and the target service’s access location all affect results. Choose based on actual connectivity for the current task.
